Mrs. Adegbemisola Fathiat Rufai (nee Aina-Balogun) was born on the 4th August 1959 at Oko Awo, Lagos Island to Pa Summonu Amusa Aina and Alhaja Osenatu Ajoke Aina a.k.a Alhaja Olorunkemi (both of blessed memory). Her paternal lineage originates from the Tulebe Balogun Dodondawa Compound, Ibonwon, Epe Division of Lagos State while her maternal lineage is linked to the Royal House of Mohammad Sanni Aderibigbe Gbongorbioko Ruling House in Offa and Fulani Royal House in Ojoku, both in Kwara State.
Educational Background
Like most children of her generation, born and raised in Lagos, educational opportunities were available to Gbemi at every stage of her life. Her quest for knowledge took her to Local and International Institutions of learning where she was exposed to varied educational, vocational and Entrepreneurial institutions which have made her a well-rounded, intelligent and experienced HR Practitioner, Professional Counsellor and a Seasoned Public Servant.
